Walnut & Stainless Steel Staircase

DESIGN: Stainless steel stair with black walnut treads and handrail
Designed for a brownstone apartment, the client requested a sleek, contemporary, stainless steel staircase. Our approach, whenever possible, is to design a product that is cohesive with the rest of the home and add to the existing design of the space. With this in mind, Serett designed a staircase with strong, clean and modern lines.
A “dull nickel” finish is created with a special technique to lessen the sheen of the stainless steel. The treads are fabricated out of raw and unstained black walnut to create visual richness.
